Net Worth Update June 6, 2008 [$113,261.38(-3.08%)]

June wasn’t as bad as the numbers make it out to be. Yes, I lost about 3k on the net worth, but I bumped up my 401k contribution to 15% this past month along with my wifes. The 3k loss can most likely be contributed to the landscaping addition I tacked on that sucked 3.5k [...]

It Costs At LEAST 10MIL To Be In The “Cool Kids Club” This Year; One Million MOST CERTAINLY Isn’t What It Used To Be!

Who would have thought that there’d come a day when 1MIL would officially “not be what it used to be”. According to Yahoo, it happened a while back because the new elite number is 10MIL minimum! A Deeper Look at Late Payments and FICO Scores by Barry Paperno

Good Customer Service Will ALWAYS Save (And Make) You Money Both As A Seller And As A Buyer

They’re people also and everyone is entitled to a bad [...]

Should I Pay My Credit Card Off Each Month?

It’s always a hot topic and yet it is still one of the first questions people ask when they talk about owning their credit cards. MyFICO doesn’t hand out their magic formulas and the best you can do is to NOT use it at all if you’re worried about credit. But if you HAVE to [...]

Net Worth Update May 9, 2008 [$120,697.64 (+3.55%)]

We’re looking up again this month – looks like the mutual funds are coming back a little bit this month. Both the wife and I had good 401k returns this month. The house dropped a bit, but that’s to be expected, but overall we’re looking up again.
