Apparently The Post I Set To Publish Today Was Set To 2080; WordPress Tip o’ The Day…
I really love the “future post” ability of WordPress, I just need to watch the “fat-fingering” of the keyboard I guess! I don’t generally like posting things mid-day, but I thought this was worthy enough to mention how to do it, but not take up a lot of time. Charting out your week of posts ahead of time will save you time and sanity; you won’t need to rush to come up with good ideas, nor have to cram time in mid-week to find them…
To set a future post in WordPress, all you need to change is the “Post Timestamp” in your “Write” tab like this:

Set that to the time you want it to post and hit the “Publish” button. It’ll close out the window and post automatically at that time. Honestly, I didn’t know how to do this originally, and for the first 2 months of my blog, I was getting up at odd hours of the night just to click the “Publish” button.
This saves me some time and sleep for sure, and I’d highly recommend using it!
